Buckerbarn.com is not an Auctioneer. Although we are referred to as an Online Auction we are acting as Agents Only.  The sole purpose of this website is to act as a venue to allow breeders, owners, and people interested in starting a breeding program to buy and sell bucking bulls, cows, semen, embryo’s and equipment.  The actual transaction occurs between buyer and seller.  All guarantees and payments for cattle are between the buyer and seller. Buckerbarn.com is not a classified ad. By placing an animal on Buckerbarn.com you are consigning them to be sold to the highest bidder, and you are agreeing to all terms and conditions set forth by Buckerbarn.com and agree to adhere to all consignor rules.  Failure to follow all rules forfeits your right to use Buckerbarn.com online service as a buyer or seller, and your name WILL appear on a Blacklist section.

Consignor Rules
By consigning an animal, semen, embryo or equipment for auction on Buckerbarn.com you agree to the terms and conditions and to abide by all rules set forth by Buckerbarn.com. 

By placing an animal, semen, embryo or equipment on the website for auction you will automatically be liable for an administrative fee of $20.00. Your lot will not be placed up for auction until the administrative fee is received.  When the auction ends, a sales fee of 5% of the final bid will be administered. This fee must be payed within 20 days of the auctions close. Each 20 day non-payment period will result in an additonal 10% of the of the stated fee. Payment will only be received by credit card (via Paypal), certified check, or money order, payable to Buckerbarn.com.

You may place a reserve on that animal, semen, embryo or equipment. If the reserve is not met you have the option to re-consign (at additional list fee) or sell to the highest bidder. If for any reason a successful bidder defaults on a sale where the reserve is met you may request Buckerbarn.com to contact the second highest bidder to sell the animal, semen, embryo, or equipment to them on their bid.

Consignor is responsible for all health papers required by provincial and federal, and international laws. Transportation arrangements will be between buyer and seller.  Buckerbarn.com does not guarantee health, quality, or genetics of animals, semen, embryos or equipment being sold. When a lot is placed for auction on Buckerbarn.com, they will remain for auction until the said end date and time. Any consigner who removes a sale listed on Buckerbarn.com is still liable for the 5% comission fee. If the said lot does not meet its reserve, the seller must pay 5% on the Reserve Price.

Bidders Rules
By registering as a bidder and placing a bid on Buckerbarn.com website you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by all rules set forth by the website. You may only bid under one username. All bids must be in $25.00 increments for live animals. For semen, embryos and equipment, the bidding is in $10 increments. Once you submit a bid it is final and can not be removed.
The bidding will end at the scheduled date and time posted on the lot. The scheduled end time is 7 days from when the administration fee has been paid.  At that time the sale will be final.
If any buyer or consignor fails to follow through on a completed sale Buckerbarn.com has the right to refuse any consignments or bids from all parties involved.
 
The successful bidder will be contacted by e-mail or phone following the end of the bidding. The winning bidder will contact the seller to arrange for payment and transportation. The consigner must be payed within 14 days of the auctions close, unless an agreement has been reached between the buyer and seller.
 
All monies paid to the seller will be Canadian dollars, unless otherwise specified by Buckerbarn.com.
 
If you are planning to bid on a Lot then you will pay the price that your bid says. The seller has the right to lower his reserve once the bidding starts. If you can not pay for the lot at the price it is at, then please do not bid on the lot.
 
Buckerbarn.com reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
